Lauren is a designer for live performance and events.
Having trained in Theatre Design at Nottingham Trent University, where she was the recipient of the Birmingham Opera Prize, she has since designed sets and costumes nationally for Off West End, touring, immersive, and community productions across theatre, dance, carnival, festivals and short film for companies including The Royal Shakespeare Company, Watford Palace Theatre and The Royal & Derngate.
She has been employed as lead stylist on events for companies including Sky, Amazon, and NOW TV and has worked within the Art Department on multiple live events.
In her work, Lauren aims to create exciting, stylised designs and enjoys exploring the crossover between audience and performance, regularly intertwining these boundaries, with the goal of creating a greater connection and understanding, through use of design, to aid in the storytelling process.
As associate designer, Lauren has worked on outdoor festivals, touring performances, and pantomime including Tangled Feet’s Pop Up Performance Shop, Watford Palace Theatre’s The Stage In The Park festival and Greenwich Theatre’s Pantomime The Queen of Hearts.
