Based between Nottingham and London, Lauren is a Theatre Designer with experience in both speculative and realised projects as a set and costume designer and has also been an assistant designer on a number of theatre productions.
She was awarded the 2016 Birmingham Opera Prize project for her take on the Greek Tragedy ‘Dido and Aeneas’.
Lauren finds excitement in bringing the variety and the unknown to audiences. She feels there is great importance in audience and their response to narrative in performance; she works to showcase the best version of this narrative through a visual, atmospheric and encompassing environment.
In the hope of creating inventive, new approaches when designing, Lauren enjoys working collaboratively to explore the best possible outcomes for the work she is involved in and thrives in each new challenge presented to her.
