Meet the Knave of Hearts, a bit of a joker who’s in love with the Princess of Diamonds. The only problem is, she’s already got a boyfriend – the Prince of Spades. Maybe the Queen of Hearts’ secret jam recipe, that makes everyone happy, will win her over. But then there’s the naughty King of Clubs who’s also desperate to get his hands on the secret recipe for his own gains…

As the stand-in designer, I attended costume fittings, created cos-props, painted scenery and made props for the show and sat in during the technical rehearsals of the show, feeding back to the designer throughout.
