Lauren is a designer for live performance specializing in set and costume design for new writing, immersive experiences, and community-led projects. Trained at Nottingham Trent University, she has collaborated with professional creatives, diverse community groups, young people and those who have experienced the criminal justice system, excelling at creating original works with and for these participants. Her work features partnerships with local organisations in Luton, such as NGYT, Tangled Feet, and Revoluton Arts, and includes national design credits at venues like Leicester Curve, Royal & Derngate and the RSC.

Lauren’s designs have meticulous attention to detail, with a focus on storytelling and narrative, crafting environments that break traditional boundaries between audience and performance. With a versatile portfolio encompassing festivals and carnivals, Lauren has also been lead stylist on events for global brands like Holland & Barrett, SKY, and NOW TV.

As associate and assistant designer her work spans pantomimes, plays, and operas for Designers Stuart Nunn, Nicky Shaw, Cleo Pettit, Stewart J. Charlesworth, and Hannah Sibai.

Alongside her design work, Lauren is also a Director of her own Community Interest Company (ACL Collective) who work to champion artistry, creativity, and learning in young people and families. Producing and fostering committed events for local communities centred on the importance of the arts and accessibility for all, in spaces they may not typically use. Lauren is dedicated to engaging audiences and participants through creative collaboration and educational initiatives that inspire, utilising ambitious design or immersive visual experiences, in theatre spaces or on the streets, she is eager to continue connecting people to the arts at every opportunity.
