Lauren is a live performance designer working across theatre, short film and shoots, immersive experiences, and live events specialising in set and costume design for new writing, site responsive, and community-led projects alongside a strong practice as a live events professional stylist, production coordinator, and artist liaison. Trained at Nottingham Trent University, her background in Theatre Design informs a narrative-led approach to creating high quality live productions and events — from touring, immersive, and community projects, to exhibitions and large-scale brand activations — bringing clarity, creativity, and organisation to complex live environments. Her experience includes overseeing logistics, schedules, and cross-functional teams, ensuring ambitious ideas are delivered with precision.

Her design practice is defined by meticulous attention to detail and a strong focus on storytelling, crafting immersive environments that challenge traditional boundaries between audience and performance. With a versatile portfolio spanning festivals, carnivals, exhibitions, and public events, Lauren has collaborated with professional creatives, diverse community groups, young people, and individuals with lived experience of the criminal justice system, excelling at creating original work made with and for participants.
Her work includes national design credits at venues such as Leicester Curve, Royal & Derngate, and The Royal Shakespeare Company, and spans companies including Punchdrunk, The Crown Estate, and The Body Shop.
Lauren has also worked as lead stylist on projects for global brands including Holland & Barrett, SKY, and NOW TV.

As associate/assistant designer, Lauren has experience across musicals, pantomimes, plays, and operas, alongside designers including Richard Hudson, Stuart Nunn, Nicky Shaw, Becky-Dee Trevenen, Cleo Pettit, and Hannah Sibai.

Alongside her design practice, Lauren is Co-Director of ACL Collective, a Community Interest Company championing artistry, creativity and learning; producing their own family-centred events focused on accessibility, activation, and ambitious live experiences in non-traditional spaces.
Whether in theatres or on the streets, she driven by a desire to connect audiences to the arts through collaboration, education, and immersive storytelling.
